BELTON — A 36-year-old Killeen man was indicted on a felony charge Wednesday, after he allegedly threatened his wife with a gun.

A Bell County grand jury indicted Quincy Lanier Hailes on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident, which took place June 3.

According to an arrest affidavit, Hailes and his wife were arguing at their home in the 300 block of Triple 7 Trail in Bell County.

Haile’s wife told Bell County sheriff’s investigators that Hailes drove his vehicle across the yard, then exited with a pistol in his hand.

Hailes grabbed his wife by the neck, forced her to the ground and pressed the barrel of the gun against her head.

He then threatened to kill her, the affidavit stated. Hailes left the residence, and was later found in a Temple hotel.
