BELTON — A homeless Killeen man pleaded guilty Thursday to a felony charge, and is awaiting sentencing later this month.

Ronnie James Shell, 30, pleaded guilty to the second-degree felony charge of burglary of a habitation.

Shell was arrested after attempting to run from Killeen police last July.

Killeen police officers responded to an early morning burglary in progress at a residence in the 2200 block of Davis Avenue.

Officers observed two men run from home.
