Man wanted in stabbing death arrested

A man wanted for stabbing a woman to death in Killeen was arrested in Turlock, Calif. early Thursday morning, Killeen police reported.

David Vega, 28, has been on the run since stabbing Danielle Acosta-Guerrero, 30, to death in the 2400 block of Haven Drive on Aug. 17, and assaulting her 6-year-old son.

Vega, a Fort Hood soldier, fled the residence just before officers arrived and has been on the run since then.
