A man was arraigned on a felony drug charge in a Killeen courtroom Thursday afternoon.

Christopher Henry Costa, 29, was arraigned on a charge of possession of cocaine in an amount of less than 1 gram by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke.

Costa was one of three men named in a search warrant served by Killeen police at a residence in the 2200 block of Sparrow Road on Tuesday.

Costa arrived at the residence and police took him into custody after they were advised of an active warrant for his arrest, according to an arrest affidavit.

An officer searched Costa, and recovered a small plastic bag containing white powder.

The powder tested positive for cocaine, and weighed 0.5 grams, the affidavit stated.

Cooke set Costa’s bond at $20,000.

Cooke also arraigned Samuel Roberto Pleasant on an unrelated charge of possession of cocaine in an amount of less than 1 gram. Cooke set Pleasant’s bond at $20,000.
