Killeen police arrested the man they believe stabbed a woman during a convenience store robbery Wednesday.

Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Michael Stuart Burton after a surveillance video resulted in a tip that led investigators to arrest Burton on Wednesday.

He was charged with aggravated robbery and remained in Killeen City Jail on Thursday night awaiting arraignment today.

Police believe Burton stabbed a 49-year-old clerk at the 7-Eleven in the 1400 block of Rancier Avenue, causing serious, but not life threatening, injuries. He then stole several cartons of cigarettes and fled the store.
