Two men are facing felony arson charges after investigators say they set multiple fires at a local nightclub.

William R. Twist, 34, of Killeen, and Spc. Jacob H. Lugmayer, 20, of Fort Hood, were arraigned Thursday on charges of arson in connection with multiple fires set at Starlite Station, on South Fort Hood Street, on Dec. 17.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the fires were intentionally set. Burglary detectives from the Killeen Police Department said the fires were set to destroy evidence and video footage of a burglary from the club.

Twist is currently at the Bell County Jail, and Lugmayer, will be transferred there later today, according to police. Their bail is set at $50,000 each.

Fort Hood officials confirmed that Lugmayer is an Army specialist with 3rd Calvary Regiment. A Facebook profile for Twist  lists Starlite Station as his employer.
