The First National Bank at 2201 Trimmier Road in Killeen was robbed at 9:18 a.m. Thursday.

Killeen Police Department spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said a black male walked into the bank wearing a black hoodie and a mask, and handed a teller a note.

The teller complied with the demand, giving the suspect money, and he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The KPD Facebook page showed the robber standing in line seconds before the holdup.

The man is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, with a thin build.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Killeen Police Department at 254-501-8830.

"a black male walked into the bank wearing a black hoodie and a mask, and handed the teller a note", black male wearing a hoodie, no it can't be. This must be more of the CRIME reduction the pretend CoP of REAL KILLeen PD promised the community.

eyewatchingu

I wonder if the Chief of Police will do a photo shoot n front of the bank. It would make for a great pin-up titled, Killen Chief of Police Suppresses Crime well the Bank is robbed. Maybe he can hold up a couple of bank bags with painted dollar signs on them.
