Two Killeen businesses have been busted for allowing illegal gambling, police said.

An undercover operation revealed that Gateway Food Mart and another business, both on the 4200 block of East Rancier, were operating illegal gambling machines, according to a Killeen Police Department press release.

On Wednesday, police seized the gambling devices along with $37,000, and two Killeen residents were arrested: 27-year-old Khatri Sagar and 55-year-old Clara Guzman. Both were charged with keeping a gambling place, gambling promotion and possession of gambling paraphernalia. All are class A misdemeanors.

More arrests are expected, police said.
