HARKER HEIGHTS - Gunfire was reported Tuesday night after some Harker Heights party-goers got out of hand.
Harker Heights police responded to calls of shots fired just after 10 p.m. One of the bullets hit the window of a home in the 1300 block of Trail Crest Drive.
Upon officer arrival, several vehicles were departing the area, according to Sgt. Stephen Miller, Harker Heights police spokesman. Officers investigating the gunfire discovered a party had been held at a home in the 900 block of Cedar Oaks Lane. Some guests, who were not known by the homeowner, had been asked to leave when they became loud, rowdy and rude, Miller said.
The shots were allegedly fired shortly after those guests left the home.
No one was injured and police continue to investigate.
