A Fort Hood soldier charged with the sexual assault of a child in August was indicted by a Bell County Grand Jury Wednesday.
Jacob Michael Baca, 22, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, was charged with the felony after an investigation by the Bell County Sheriff’s Department Special Crimes Unit accused him of having sex with a 15-year-old girl, according to an FME News Service report.
The incident was reported May 7, according to Bell County Sheriff's Department Spokesman Maj. T.J. Cruz.
Baca was held in the Bell County Jail on a $50,000 bond. He has since posted bond, and is out of jail.
