Killeen police arrested a woman they said used a credit card stolen from a dead woman to buy clothes at a department store.

Jessica Lynn Shell was charged with credit card abuse.

Police arrested Shell on Wednesday after determining she used a credit card stolen from a woman who died in January to purchase clothes at Dillard’s in June, according to an arrest affidavit.

Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin arraigned Shell on Thursday, setting her bail at $50,000.

The daughter of the dead woman notified police in July that someone used her credit card.

Her home was burglarized in June.

Police found surveillance footage of the purchase, which showed a woman later identified as Shell buying items at Dillard’s.

Also Thursday, Potvin arraigned Elizabeth Ashley Heisterberg on an unrelated charge of possession of cocaine, less than 1 gram. Heisterberg’s bond was set at $20,000.
