GATESVILLE — A Coryell County grand jury on Tuesday indicted a Copperas Cove man suspected of a February robbery of a Black Meg’s employee.

Jeremy Roland Emmitt, 20, of Copperas Cove, was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery. He is in Coryell County Jail on $40,000 bond.

According to an arrest affidavit, Emmitt bragged to another Coryell County Jail inmate about robbing a Black Meg 43 employee outside the First National Bank in Copperas Cove on Feb. 20, just days after the hamburger restaurant was burglarized.

The inmate told police what Emmitt shared. An investigation revealed the inmate was in jail before the robbery, and no information about the crime was released to the public, so his firsthand knowledge made Emmitt the likely culprit, the affidavit stated.

The grand jury also indicted:

  • Elizabeth Suzanne Bosse, 39, of Hamilton, on a charge of theft enhanced.
  • Brent Allen Bradley, 42, of Andice, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
