The Bell County Organized Crime Unit arrested three people on drug charges after they found drugs with a street value of more than $18,000 at a Killeen home.
Police arrested Michael Enriquez, 28, Joseph Davis, 22, and Roxanne Alcozar, 25, Thursday after finding quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana at a home in the 2700 block of Armadillo Drive in Killeen, a news release stated.
Harker Heights police Sgt. Jerry Dugger said the lion’s share of drugs seized was crystal methamphetamine, weighing in at more than 4 ounces. There was no evidence the three suspects were manufacturing the drug at the home.
Police also seized an unspecified amount of cash and stolen property.
The Bell County District Attorney’s office charged all three with possession of methamphetamine, 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams, said Dugger, the commander of the organized crime task force.
Those charges may be elevated because the drugs were found less than 1,000 feet from Maxdale Elementary School on Westwood Drive.
The three suspects were wanted on several Killeen city warrants for unpaid citations.
All three are in Bell County Jail in lieu of bond and will likely be arraigned today.
