A woman has been arraigned on drug possession charges after a traffic stop led to her arrest, according to Killeen police.
Nakkia Marie Lopez, 38, was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Claudia Brown Tuesday on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams.
Lopez was driving in Killeen when police saw her commit several traffic violations, according to an affidavit for arrest. An officer knew that Lopez had an outstanding warrant for her arrest, and proceeded to pull her over, police said.
An officer found a plastic bag of suspected methamphetamine in Lopez's bra, and found more bags of the suspected drug and a digital scale underneath the seat of the car, according to the affidavit for arrest.
The suspected drugs tested positive with a field test for about 16.6 grams of methamphetamine. Lopez told police that she was selling the drugs, according to the affidavit.
Lopez was held in the Bell County Jail on $75,000 bond.
In an unrelated incident, Trequon McCray Gatling, 23, was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke on a charge of evading arrest with a motor vehicle.
