A woman who tried to put herself and two other people in the back of a police cruiser was arraigned on a charge of harassment of a public servant over the weekend.
Kioneshia Washington, 20, was arrested Thursday by Harker Heights police. Officers were sent to a home in the 500 block of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard, and saw Washington pulling two other people toward oncoming traffic, according to the affidavit. She then tried to put the two people in the back of the officer’s patrol car, and when that didn’t work, she entered the back seat of the cruiser “without being prompted,” according to police.
When an officer tried to remove Washington from his car, she bit his left hand between the thumb and the forefinger, police said. Later, she spit on an officer when he was securing a seat belt, according to the affidavit.
Washington was held in the Bell County Jail on a $100,000 bond set by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke. She has since posted bond.
In an unrelated incident, Kwame Zikey Brown, 22, and Larry Dwayne Hall, 28, were charged with deadly conduct, discharge of a firearm. They are both in the Bell County Jail, each held on $100,000 bond.
