A Harker Heights woman faces a felony charge after Killeen police said she attacked and threatened a Killeen police officer.

A Bell County grand jury Wednesday indicted Latoya Ashley Miles, 26 on a charge of harassment of a public servant.

On Jan. 9, Miles was attempting to run into traffic in the area of 10th Street and East Veterans Memorial Boulevard, according to an arrest affidavit.

Miles struggled with the officers, striking one in the face with an elbow.

While she was being transported, she spit at the officer and told him she would kill his family.

The following individuals were also indicted Wednesday:

  • Kytel Rashad Brown, 22, of Killeen, on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
  • Sergius Madrigal, 30, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.
