Killeen police arrested a woman they said threatened to shoot another woman for parking on her property.
Crystal Marie Perkins, 28, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police arrested Perkins Wednesday afternoon outside of her home in the 1400 block of Carrolton Avenue in Killeen.
Police responded to the home after receiving a call for criminal mischief. There, they spoke with a woman who told police Perkins had shot her car and threatened to shoot her, according to an arrest affidavit.
The woman said she had her car parked at the property and arrived to remove some items from the vehicle when Perkins came out of her home and began to yell at the woman.
Perkins then went inside and retrieved a firearm. She told the woman she would shoot her just like she shot her car, the affidavit states.
The woman told police Perkins’ husband had given her permission to leave her vehicle at the property.
Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke arraigned Perkins on Friday, setting her bail at $100,000.
