A 29-year-old woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from her Killeen employer is facing a felony charge, according to police.

Joeean Lajuan Bosquez was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke on Friday on a charge of theft in an amount greater than $1,500, but less than $20,000. Cooke set her bail at $20,000. According to an arrest affidavit, Bosquez was the office manager for a local business and handled its payroll. Police believe she stole nearly $5,500.

Police did not name the business where Bosquez worked in their report.
