HARKER HEIGHTS — A woman was stabbed around 10:16 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

The woman reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. The incident occurred near the 200 block of East Beeline Lane.

According to Harker Heights Police Department Sgt. Steve Miller, officers learned the assault occurred as a result of a domestic dispute and have taken another woman into custody with charges pending.

Police did not release the name of the arrested woman.
