Central Texas College was once again named to the list of top military-friendly schools by Military Advanced Education’s “2014 Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges & Universities,” according to college officials.

This was the seventh consecutive year the college made the list, where it was cited by MAE for its flexibility of online learning options, transfer credits accepted by degree level, on-campus ROTC program and Servicemember Opportunity Colleges participation.

Military Advanced Education also evaluated this year’s colleges on criteria such as on-campus active duty and veteran assistance, support provided to families of service members, faculty trained in veteran reintegration issues, presence on military installations and full-time counselors trained in veteran-specific mental health concerns.
