Central Texas College is offering grants to military students affected by the suspension of the tuition assistance program.

The college announced Tuesday that the grants would be available to current military students who used tuition assistance this academic year, and any new military students who applied for CTC admission prior to the date the program was suspended by the Department of Defense.

According to CTC, the tuition assistance grant can be used for any credit class beginning on or prior to April 30, 2013, and eligible students can register for one course that begins on or prior to April 30 using the grant.
