TEA Results

Here is the beginning of the TEA report. The read can be read in its entirety on kdhnews.com

The Texas Education Agency sided with a parent on most of her points in a complaint filed against the Killeen Independent School District.

Stephanie Moody, the mother of a Saegert Elementary School student who has dyslexia and other issues, filed a complaint to the TEA in June saying the school district was not complying with requirements for her daughter. The TEA report requires that the district provide information about the student in question and about how they are handling that student’s individualized education program by Sept. 25.
