Texas A&M University-Central Texas hosts the American Democracy Project Provost Lecture Series at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Bernie Beck Lecture Hall at 1001 Leadership Place in Killeen.

The focus of the lecture is youth homelessness.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

In 2014, Texas A&M University-Central Texas was one of 30 universities chosen to participate in the Economic Inequality Initiative, and the Provost Lecture Series was created as part of this initiative.

The goal is to help students confront the complex causes of growing economic inequality in the United States.
