The Copperas Cove Independent School District invited parents to come meet administration officials and ask questions at a meet and greet early this morning.

Superintendent Joseph Burns and Deputy Superintendent Rick Kirkpatrick took questions from a small group of parents at the event. Topics included textbooks, technology and how best to communicate with staff on the district's campuses.

Kirkpatrick also gave a presentation of the district's vocational career and technology programs, which Cove plans to expand and strengthen in the future.
