COPPERAS COVE — Members of the Copperas Cove Independent School District Board of Trustees voted to adopt new security measures Friday in the wake of a series of bomb threats at the district’s secondary schools.
After meeting for about an hour in closed session, five members of the board voted unanimously to adopt security measures recommended by Superintendent Joseph Burns. Board members Doug Cook and Mike Wilburn were not in attendance when trustees voted.
