Central Texas College is once again listed as one of the “Best Colleges for Veterans” by the Military Times EDGE Magazine.

According to the magazine’s survey, the college was ranked fourth on the 2013 list of best colleges for veterans, up from 15th in 2012. The rankings are based on a number of criteria, including academic accreditation, staff knowledge on veterans’ issues and whether the school has a central veterans’ office.

Central Texas College, which offers classes at campuses both in U.S. and overseas as well as online, was cited for its tuition cost.

The college’s credit-per-hour rate is below the established tuition assistance cap of $250, under the G.I. Bill cap and full out-of-state tuition for all programs is lower than the nationwide cap of $17,500 per school year, according to a Friday statement from the college.

I wonder if the cost of paying for 4th in a survey is the same as a crazy price for "college specific" school books? ..... [whistling]
