Central Texas College welcomed a group of recent high school graduates from local school districts at its Fast Track Finale this morning.

About 125 recent graduates from Killeen and Copperas Cove independent school districts met at the college's Anderson Campus Center to participate in a three-day workshop designed to prepare them for their first year as college students at CTC.

In addition to getting to know fellow students and college faculty, students also received assistance with registration, degree plans and financial aid. The new students also receive information about campus life and college readiness in various break-out sessions. The workshop will run Aug. 7-9 from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
