The Killeen Independent School District opens an enrollment center for new students beginning Monday.

This year, the center is at Ellison High School, 909 Elms Road in Killeen. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays through Aug. 8, and serves students in prekindergarten through 12th grade who are new to the Killeen district.

Parents are required to bring the following documentation to enroll a child:

  • Current proof of residency within Killeen ISD (utility bill or lease contract).
  • Birth certificate (certified copy required for children age 11 and younger).
  • Student’s Social Security card.
  • Immunization records.
  • Report card/records from previous school.

Additional documentation is required for pre-k.
