Killeen Independent School District students will get out of school two hours earlier than normal Friday in advance of spring break, according to a press release.

KISD schools and administrative offices and other facilities will be closed for spring break March 12 through March 16. Classes will resume as normal on March 19.

Schools will have “early out” for students on Friday. Students will be released for the day two hours earlier than the usual final bell release time to begin their Spring Break. Live Oak Ridge Middle School, for instance, normally dismisses students for the day at 3:40 p.m. On Friday,  classes at Live Oak Ridge will let out at 1:40 p.m.

Parents should contact their children’s school if they have any questions about the school’s release time on Friday. | 254-501-7553
