A Killeen Independent School District bus was struck by another vehicle Thursday afternoon at Florence and Elms roads.

KISD spokesman Terry Abbott said no injuries have been reported, though 34 students were riding on the bus at the time of the accident.

One student was looked at by EMS personnel at the scene but did not need to go to a medical facility, Abbott said in a press release.

Most of the students were picked up by their parents at the scene of the accident. Six students were picked up by another KISD bus, and an assistant principal rode with them to their bus stops, Abbott said.

The bus was driving from Reeces Creek Elementary when it was hit by the vehicle.

Killeen police are investigating what caused the accident.
