EDUCATION

With annual tuition and fees alone for Texas public college and university students costing $10,000 or more this year, Killeen ISD will host a special event tonight to help parents and students get free money for college.

High school counselors, district staff, representatives of community organizations and other officials will gather tonight at 7 o’clock with high school seniors from across Killeen ISD to start lining up financial aid for students. The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Pathways Academic Campus, 1322 Stagecoach Road, Killeen.

Officials will be available to assist and provide information on completing financial aid paperwork, and exploring college resources. KISD will work with the students to get grants, student loans, work-study programs, scholarships, VA benefits and help from other special programs.

Students and families can pre-register at HTTPS://GOO.GL/FORMS/HWXSOKESFC1OM3RM2 or register onsite.

There ain't no free lunches.
Ain't nothing in life free, but air, and your betters are trying to TAX your breathing.
The cheapest deal in education ain't free, but it'll save you a fortune, COMMUNITY COLLEGE for starters.
