LAMPASAS — Robert White is the new principal of Lampasas High School.

White comes to the Lampasas Independent School District after serving as the principal of McGregor High School for five years and assistant principal for three years.

White replaces Mark Kehoe, who has been principal of LHS since 2009. Kehoe has accepted a position as director of human resources at the Azle Independent School District outside Fort Worth, according to media sources.

After graduating from Crane High School, White earned his bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne University. He then earned his master’s of Educational Administration from Texas A&M University-Central Texas.

He began his administrative career as the public education information management system coordinator of Belton High School after 17 years of coaching and teaching, primarily as head basketball coach and history teacher.

Robert and his wife, Shelley, have been married for 26 years. The couple has three children.
