Despite expecting a decrease in the number of teachers employed by the Killeen Independent School District in the 2014-2015 year, administrators don’t foresee any layoffs.
“Over the course of the next several months, particularly after May when school gets out, we will have teachers who voluntarily leave,” Superintendent Robert Muller said Friday. “Those numbers sometimes approach 300, 350 or even as high as 400.”
