Killeen High School students will be asked to think about their future goals and careers thanks to a new curriculum being piloted at the school this year.
Students in the high school's Advancement Via Individual Determination, or AVID, program will take part in curriculum designed by the educational organization Road Trip Nation, best known for its show on PBS.
Road Trip Nation encourages students to explore future career opportunities based on their passions and interests. The curriculum will include hands-on projects designed to get them thinking about their goals after high school and college, according to KHS officials.
