COLLEGE STATION (AP) — Texas A&M University in the fall will begin offering a major in journalism, resurrecting the program a decade after it was eliminated.
University officials announced in a news release Thursday that the Faculty Senate this week approved a liberal arts degree in journalism. It will be a component of the University Studies Program, which is a degree plan designed to combine several areas of study.
