Former Killeen City Councilman Dick Young filed Friday to run in the city’s mayoral race.

Young and former City Councilman Scott Cosper, thus far, are the only candidates seeking election for mayor.

Filings for the election run through Feb. 28.

Incumbents Jared Foster and Jonathan Okray are seeking re-election for their at-large council seats.

Both began their first term on the council in May 2012. Doris Mims-Owens and Juan Rivera also are on the ballot for at-large council seats.

The election is slated for May 10 with early voting April 28 through May 6.
