A former mechanic in the Killeen Fleet Services Division has filed a lawsuit against the city under the Texas Whistleblower Act.

The former technician, John Acker, was one of two city employees who were fired in December, after a two-month investigation of the city’s Fleet Services division.

Acker said he was wrongfully terminated and wants his job back.
