Fort Hood leaders to host Facebook and TV Town Hall

Fort Hood hosts its second multimedia Facebook and TV Town Hall from 5 to 7 p.m. today.

At 5 p.m., Fort Hood’s Facebook portion of the town hall will begin taking and answering questions.

At 6 p.m., Lt. Gen. Don Campbell Jr., commander of III Corps and Fort Hood, Maj. Gen. Anthony Ierardi, 1st Cavalry Division commander, Col. Patrick Sargent, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center commander, and Andy Bird, Fort Hood deputy garrison commander, will begin a live TV town hall answering Facebook and call-in questions.

Residents can call (254) 288-4990 to ask a question. To ask a question via Facebook, participants should visit the III Corps and Fort Hood Facebook page and click on a town hall tab at facebook.com/forthood.

The town hall will be broadcast via satellite using DVIDS, a Defense Department-contracted media agency in Atlanta, Ga. DVIDS will post a live stream of the TV portion on the Internet, which can be seen on the III Corps and Fort Hood Facebook page.
