KISD/TODD MARTIN - Sugar Loaf Elementary School fourth-grader Manuel Escalante shows off his big catch Friday. The 13-ounce, 12-inch white crappie was easily the largest of the day when the students stopped fishing to eat lunch. Sugar Loaf’s five fourth-grade classes enjoyed a day of fishing at the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area.
