Students in the Central Texas College Culinary Arts Department will host the semester’s first Patio Café Cuisine Nights, offering an Italian dinner menu from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Student Center (Bldg. 106).
The menu includes appetizers, soups and salads: tomato bruschetta ($4); minestrone soup ($6 or a cup with an entrée for $1.50); grilled chicken Caesar salad ($9.50); house salad ($3.75 or free with an entrée); and honey oat rolls ($1.50 or free with an entrée).
The entrees are chicken Parmesan ($13.50); Italian meatballs ($10); and sautéed shrimp with aurore sauce. All entrees are served with a choice of two side dishes: fettuccini pasta, green beans, risotto with asparagus and mushrooms and grilled summer vegetables.
The featured desserts are tiramisu ($3.50) and ricotta filled cannoli ($3.50).
