No one was seriously injured when a home in the 4800 block of Causeway Court in Killeen caught fire Sunday.

The Killeen Fire Department responded to a call of visible flames coming from a garage at 12:19 p.m., said Bill Brooks, Battalion 2 captain. Killeen police were the first to arrive on the scene followed by two fire engines and a ladder truck. The fire was under control by 1 p.m.

"It was a quick attack, and we were fortunate that most of the fire didn't get into the interior of the house," said Brooks.

Most of the damage was to the garage and a car parked in the driveway. There was some smoke and heat damage to the interior, he said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
