Gilmore center announces activities

The Bob Gilmore Senior Center hosts a covered-dish luncheon at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

November birthdays will be celebrated. Members’ guests are invited.

Karen Handley will speak on “Hospice 101.”

Guests are asked to bring a food dish to share. Anyone who does not bring food will be charged $3.50 per person.

A Christmas Mini Craft Fair is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the Killeen Community Center, room 150, 2205 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. The fair will move next door to the Gilmore center from 5 to 9 p.m.

The fair will raise funds for the renovation of the Bob Gilmore Senior Center.

Vendor tables are $25 per table, payable to the Bob Gilmore Senior Center, with vendors keeping proceeds from their sales.

Tables for members are free but need to be reserved ahead of time.

Thanksgiving dinner for seniors will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Killeen Community Center, room 150.

The meal is provided by the Youth Advisory Council.
