H-E-B Killeen

H-E-B closed its downtown Killeen location in October.

Update Sept. 25, 10:15 a.m.: Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce President John Crutchfield confirmed that a developer in north Killeen is still in talks with a grocery store to potentially open a new location in the downtown area, but said no new information was currently available.

With H-E-B's closure Oct. 20 and the closing of IGA Foodliner last month, there will soon be only two grocery shopping options north of I-14, Delicias Meat Market, 1001 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. and O-Mart, 714 S. Fort Hood St.

So basically for the people that don't have a car they have to take a bus that nearly runs on good timing and go all the way home with all of their groceries. And you know the online prices are a tad bit higher than the store prices. They need to build something for this side of Killeen. It's crazy that we're getting ignored over here. Everything is on the otherside of the highway.
