HARKER HEIGHTS – Heights and Killeen firefighters responded to a vacant mobile home fire at 101 N. Roy Reynolds Drive at 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

Once crews arrived at the vacant mobile home, it was heavily engulfed in flames, according to a news release from the Harker Heights Fire Department.

The report indicated units from Heights and Killeen were able to contain and extinguish the blaze after battling it for 15 minutes.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is being investigated by the Harker Heights fire marshal, the release said.
