Harker Heights High School students hosted "fairy tale day" at their campus this morning.

The students, members of the high school's child development and Texas Association of Future Teachers organizations, donned costumes and put on short plays of six popular fairy tales for more than 400 second and third grade school students from Killeen Independent School District's elementary school campuses.

The school will host a second similar event for 500 students Oct. 23.
