Several flights in and out of Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport have been cancelled today due to high winds.

Two American Airline flights from Dallas, and another two from Killeen to Dallas, were cancelled to due high winds, which had been clocked as high as 38 miles per hour at the Killeen airport as of 1 p.m., said city spokesperson Hillary Shine.

She said another American Airlines flight from Dallas had been delayed, however, other flights in and out of the local airport were running on time.

“All of this is related to the high winds, both in Dallas and here,” Shine said.
