Historian speaks today in Salado

The hazards of rewriting history will be the featured topic at the annual Wilmer Memorial Lecture sponsored by the Institute for the Humanities at Salado.

Renowned historian and author Don E. Carleton will speak on "History: Use, Abuse and Misunderstanding" at 3 p.m. today at the Stagecoach Inn's Longhorn Conference Center in Salado. The program is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
