A holiday food drive for active-duty soldiers and veterans will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the Killeen Walmart.

In addition to canned food donations, rice, pasta, cereal, dried beans and baby food are needed.

Also needed are personal care donations such as toilet paper, baby diapers, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste and paper towels.

Hosted by Bring Everyone in the Zone, the organization helps active-duty service members, veterans and their respective families with an emphasis on those that suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, or are victims of a traumatic brain injury or military sexual assault.

Where can Veterans & active duty members go to receive food donations for Christmas? I am an OIF Vet & Mom of 2 kids. I fear that we won't have food for the holidays.I struggle to come up with meals daily for my kids. Please help.
