Killeen firefighters and police officers responded to a house fire in the 1300 block of Goodhue Drive about noon Friday.

Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving multiple reports of the fire, which engulfed most of the home’s roof.

Firefighters put out the blaze just before 1 p.m. The fire did a “significant” amount of damage to the home, officials said.

Killeen Police Department spokeswoman Carroll Smith said no one was at home when the fire broke out. No injuries were reported, and no other homes were damaged.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
