Killeen police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in the 1000 block of West Stan Schlueter Boulevard on
Sunday. The shooting injured five people.
An unknown vehicle drove by the Comedy Club in the early hours of the morning and began shooting at a crowd of people in the parking lot before fleeing the scene, according to a Killeen Police Department statement released today.
Police responded to the scene after hearing what they believed to be gunshots, stated the new release.
Five gun shot victims were discovered at the scene. Three victims were transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, one of which was then transferred to Scott & White Memorial Hospital. Another was airlifted to Scott & White Memorial Hospital from the scene. The fifth drove himself to Metroplex Hospital, stated the news release.
